Where do we begin?

It’s a question we hear a lot. When people come to us, they‘re usually considering an app for the very first time. Often, they’re intimidated—there’s a lot to consider when making an app purchase. Sometimes, they have other questions as well: “If Bluebridge is handling my app, what do we do about our mobile site?” “How can we improve our social presence?” “How do we know our audience will use our app?”

Where do we begin?

If you’re a returning visitor, you’ve probably noticed our new website. With the launch of this new site comes a new approach: we want to be your go-to resource for what’s going on in mobile. We’ll provide tips, strategies, resources and updates that will keep you up to speed on mobile trends. If you’re in the tourism, church communications or higher education industries, we’ll have a variety of resources and posts written specifically for you. If you aren’t, we still think you’ll find a lot of valuable information here.

When it came time to launch the new blog, we felt a lot like those people we talk to every day—we weren’t sure where to start. Should we start by explaining how mobile sites and mobile apps can work together? Should we recommend some free online tools to increase productivity? What about a guide to creating mobile-friendly email? There was a lot to consider, and picking the best starting point wasn’t easy.

Ultimately, though, we gave ourselves the same advice we give anyone who wants to get started with mobile apps: just take that critical first step. Each step following will feel a little easier.
